PM changes, emoticons

Hey everyone...just wanted to let you folks know of two changes I made.  Well, three actually.

1. You can now save 150 PMs instead of 60.  Also, you can use 10000 characters per message. We can afford the disk space.  :)

2. Image attachments (forums and PMs) can now be up to 750K each and be 1280 x 1600 max.  Obviously smaller is better, but once in awhile big is the only way to go.

3. Emoticons are off.  :( Unfortunately they mess up the front page formatting something awful and I don’t see any way to turn them off for just the front page and leave them on in the forums.  If I figure it out, I’ll turn ‘em back on…

While I’m here, anything y’all want me to tweak or fix?

Well, it says I have one PM unread but I don’t. That’s annoying.

I think, and this might just be guessing, but if you delete unread PMs, and don’t empty the trash, they still show as unread.  Maybe that will help?

Could you increase the maximum length of users’ signatures?  Maybe around 500 characters?  I’ve been bummed with some of the clever sayings I had to drop because I would have had to abbreviate them until they looked like Klingonese.

Put a list of the most common links in your user Notepad, under Control Panel (forum, not Windows).  Then a <ctrl>+<click>, <click>, copy/paste and you’re good to go.  tongue_wink.gif
