What is the fascination with Michael Moore and what exactly has he done wrong?- to open people’s eyes about the bush administration, who i might add are single handily destroying the great nation of America.
Ok the guy is egotistical to a certain degree, but he certainly is no bigger arsehole than bush and his cronies. Didn’t bowling for columbine open people’s eyes about American society, asking questions that needed to be asked, along with Fahrenheit t 9/11.
I wouldn’t be wasting my time nit-picking at some guy who makes documentaries, id spend my time looking at the American government who have made countless, unforgivable crimes against man and nature, would you like a list?

I’d be careful if I were you, as these Moorewatch guys and gals tend to bite. They get very angry when challenged with the truth and the truth, to them, is a bitter pill to swallow. I’d be prepared, if I was you, to expect to be called every name under the sun including stupid. They will try everything in their power not to answer your question and then when you slip up with a bad spelling or grammatical error, they will rip your head off. So it may not be worth posting here because they literally don’t want to hear it. The fact this site exists proves this fact. No man, not even Michael Moore, should go unchallenged, but when it’s constant nitpicking without a shred of evidence and when that denigrates into plain lies, personal attacks and namecalling then this is what you get....and it may be time to throw in the towel because it’s like trying to talk to a wall. (Or a computer screen in this case.)
And by the way, expect to be told “I don’t support Bush you stupid idiot, and I hate Michael Moore too” to sound bipartisan.

plus can i have a go on your Harley?
He’ll mess up the gears before you get on it and then he’ll blame you. He doesn’t like you. Or me.
Oh, great. Now we’ve got two trolls feeding off each other. Evidently the damn things are like clothes hangers: they reproduce asexually in the dark corners of closets.

I think someone took them to water and fed them after midnight.
Or was that gremlins ?
Micheal Douglas, you say you are a smart man, than please stop posting pictures of dead or maimed children. That tells me you don’t feel you have an arguement and a resorting to cheap attempts to sway our opinion. BTW, I think the spelling or typos in our responses are because most don’t feel you are worth the time it takes to correct them.
Cheers.

Funny how it’s not working. Damn! Your heart must be made of metal. But wait a second! There has to be a reason you don’t want to see these pictures! Oh yes, that’s it! You don’t want to see the effects of terrorism perpetrated by the United States! That’s hypocritical and sad. As for the rest of what you said: the feeling’s mutual.
Honestly Michael, try changing your method of operation here. If you spent time reading threads in the General Discussion or Hangout you’d find out that not everyone here is a rabid raving right-wing lunatic, and there are even some liberals such as me (although the numbers have dropped off over the past few months). And even if they were loons, why would they bother responding to such aggression anyway ? If you involved yourself calmly in conversations and postulated carefully worded questions that are free of emotive traps, then you may find people will take the time and effort to provide decent replies. Don’t dismiss the replies you have got as ‘what you expected’ - they are largely because of the style you have adopted. People can disagree with you (even on the big issues) and still be rational and reasonable human beings. But you’ll only discover their side of the argument if you leave them room to provide responses, and not scatter-gun them with numerous vague questions. It doesn’t do either side any good.
It is always good to have new posters arrive, no matter what their political persuasion is. But only if they help to maintain a pleasant tone and wish to actually have a discussion, not a rant. And only if they are able to differentiate what is their opinion and what is fact.

Just a few thoughts. Take them or leave them.
I don’t think it could have been said any better. Thank you CM.
There are many liberals here on this site who I respect; Deus, CM, up4debate to name a few. I may disagree with them, but I still respect them. Respect for personal beliefs and opinions is what has been missing from the equation for some time now, and it is only getting worse. People like you, Michael Douglas, and even those on the other side of the spectrum (solo anybody?) are destroying the state of political discussion with your condescending, “with us or against us”, “you’re afraid of the truth” wannabe intellectual clap trap. In the “real” world, I blame Michael Moore, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, Bill Mahr, and Al Franken as much as I blame Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter for this polarization. Understand this; we ALL have to live in this world together. Not everyone sees things the same way. That does not mean that someone who holds an opposite opinion is stupid, or uneducated, or hateful, or fascist, or racist, or bigoted, or greedy, or retarded ideologues, etc… It means that their lives have been different than yours and formed their opinions differently.
You keep posting that picture of a dead little Iraqi girl. Do you honestly think that ANYONE thinks dead children are a good thing? Do you not think that the soldier who may or may not have caused that girl’s death thinks it’s good? Let me tell you, if an American soldier caused that to happen, I guarantee you it will take years for him to recover from it. See the difference between us and our enemy is that we do distinguish between civilians and combatants. We spend billions of dollars on “smart” weapons in order to reduce the number of civilian casualties and collateral damage. But “smart” weapons does not mean perfect weapons, and the unfortunate side effect are that yes, occasionally civilians die. The difference between us and those we are fighting is that we do not target civilians. They do. Can you prove to me that the girl in your picture died from wounds caused by an American? Probably not. Truth is, she probably died from an IED planted in a marketplace by a radical militant. That doesn’t make it any less tragic. But let me ask you… would you sacrifice your own life to make sure that the girl’s sister never had to endure a rape room? Would you be willing to kill a Republican Guard so that her brother would never be whipped and hung by his wrists in raw sewage? Why do you value the lives of men would perpetrate evil acts over the lives of the innocent?
