Englander....please don’t go there. Mancunian and english accent?....they go together about us much as a cockney accent. I will never forget how humiliated I was when i worked at what was then the Polytechnic of north london (it contained one of the most radical student unions in the country....great laughs were had by me at what they got up to) There was an African student that put me to shame with his perfect english pronounciation. It was so bad that I almost made a pitch at being his butler. However i remembered that butlers usually have excellent pronounciation too.. As most of you can tell by my posts, I’m not the brightest spark in the forum. In fact i wear with pride, like a badge of honour, the fact that I am the single biggest moron in this forum.
