One last point about privacy regarding business… A corporation is now in the courts claiming it has free speech rights. :) If it wins, we will never be changing those rules. It will be unconstitutional.. ;)
Anyway, I’m out. Don’t care anymore.
Last I knew they had some free speech rights but were constrained by the truth.
What case are you talking about sl0re?
Its not only no guarantee, it explains you have no such privacy rights and advocates we change that… proving my point we don’t have such privacy rights…
It says that the law is evolving, which it is. If you really think there’s no such thing a suit for invasion of privacy I have to ask what planet you live on.

Oh, and to my homeslice, Applepie — adios. Feel free to come back and start a post about something real, if you want, one where we won’t all be discussing what who meant with regard to 2 people not taking part in the conversation. Maybe we could all discuss a simpler topic, one that’s easier to reach an agreement on, like say, the Isreali-Palestinian conflict… that one’s always fun.

Last I heard Verizon asked that all the suits against it regarding the NSA disclosures be rolled into one, so at the moment it does not have a name (other than ‘usual suspects vs. Verizon’… if you will).

You can sue someone for having a bad haircut. Doesn’t make it illegal… or mean you’ll win. The law will still need to evolve before you’ll have a point.
