Good point. That is one of the things that pisses me off the most about his movies.

On a side note, there was a French Foreign exchange student staying across the street. My son went with them to see the Simpsons movie and then they went mini golfing. She thought it was fun, and she said they have nothing like it in France and she wished they did.
I thought “Great, they still haven’t even forgiven us for McDonald’s!”
It sounds like France is for mostly grownups.

It seems that France even have their own National Mini Golf Federation!

SANTA ANA, CA — Audiences have been flocking to see “Sicko,” Michael Moore’s passionate condemnation of the American health care industry. But a dozen plus Orange County residents are not among them.

They are members of a jury set to begin deliberations Monday in a trial that claims health care providers resisted expensive treatment for a cancer patient, making his last days fewer and more painful than they should have been.

In a rare move, the judge in the case has admonished the jurors not to see Moore’s film. Experts could think of only a handful of times jurors have been warned not to see particular movies. And this order, observers said, stands out because the movie has nothing to do, specifically, with the Orange County case.

Moore said Thursday that he is incensed by the order. In a statement provided through his publicist, he said:

“Is the judge going to stop the jurors from seeing the hundreds of millions of dollars in TV commercials paid for by the health care industry? My movie reveals the truth and creates a more even playing field.

“Blocking the jury from seeing ‘Sicko’ and leaving them helplessly exposed to industry propaganda forces them to make a decision based on only one side of the story. Any reasonable person knows this is not fair.”

Protesters rally, tell of hardship and demand universal coverage

MADISON, WI—Natalie Morrison raised her children as a single parent living paycheck to paycheck.

Its society’s fault she accepted the seeds of a man/men to find herself, and live life as she pleased. Didn’t she get what she wanted?

Then one day she got really sick and didn’t know what was wrong. Whenever she ate anything, she said she would become overwhelmed with fatigue and couldn’t hold her head up. Soon she couldn’t keep any food down. As the assistant director of a small art school, she didn’t have health insurance. Finally, she decided to pay $200 to see a doctor and have some blood tests.

The doctor couldn’t find anything wrong and suggested that she had an eating disorder, Morrison said.

Cuban doctors woulda diagnosed it correctly. Just becuase a school is “small” and artsy-fartsy doesn’t mean it can’t provide health care. I would almost expect free solar panels and hemp flooring severywhere.

During her illness, her children would take turns holding her hand and sleeping on the floor by her bed all night. One day she became so disoriented she could only crawl and her sister took her to the emergency room.

She was found to be dehydrated and was put on IV fluids in the ER for three hours but was not admitted because she didn’t have health care, she said.

“I was dying. I really was,” Morrison said.

Self-diagnosed like a Cuban doctor would.

Eventually, her sister and her friend each took one of her arms and dragged her to a doctor’s office where she had a CAT scan and several tests. She was diagnosed with giardiasis, a diarrheal illness caused by a one-celled, microscopic parasite, Giardia intestinalis. Nobody knows where she got it, but it may have come from raw vegetables that weren’t clean, she said.

So much for “all-natural”.  Without looking it up, I trust giardiasis is commonly fatal, as you were really dying.

But the whole episode cost her dearly. There was a month when she wasn’t working where she had to borrow money to pay her mortgage and bills. She owed thousands of dollars in hospital bills from going to the emergency room three times and for the CAT scan. She couldn’t keep up with her bills and a lien was put on her house.

The only way to keep her house was to file bankruptcy, which she did.

And ate at McDonalds.

Morrison’s horror story happened in 1999 and she is still suffering the aftermath.

Treatment is not necessary when the child has no symptoms. However, there are a few exceptions. If your child does not have diarrhea, but is having nausea, fatigue (very tired), weight loss, or a poor appetite, you and your health care provider may wish to consider treatment. If your child attends a day care center where an outbreak is continuing to occur despite efforts to control it, screening and treating children who have no obvious symptoms may be a good idea. The same is true if several family members are ill, or if a family member is pregnant and therefore not able to take the most effective anti- Giardia medications.

Yes, a Giardia infection can be very contagious. Follow these guidelines to avoid spreading giardiasis to others:

Wash your hands with soap and water after using the toilet, changing diapers, and before eating or preparing food.
Do not swim in recreational water (pools, hot tubs, lakes or rivers, the ocean, etc.) if you have Giardia and for at least 2 weeks after diarrhea stops.
Avoid fecal exposure during sexual activity.

Now that would be deep. When the hat is passed we hear the good people moan: “Oh, I thought you meant 9/11ths of one percent.”

If the terrorists hadn’t blown up the WTC the 9/11 rescue workers wouldn’t be going through their struggle. No, wait. It was the Jews that own Big Pharma what blew it up to excuse invading Iraq for oil. But it was also the CIA distracting from their inventing and spreading HIV?

My guess is that these groups are made up of farmers, many farmers.  Farmers who are used to sticking their hands out asking for subsidies from individuals who must work in order to get paid.  At this point, it’s just a reflex action for them.  Think of them as “Pavlov’s Gardners"…

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (AP)—A man threw his seriously ill wife four stories to her death because he could no longer afford to pay for her medical care, prosecutors said in charging him with second-degree murder.

According to court documents filed Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court, Stanley Reimer walked his wife to the balcony of their apartment and kissed her before throwing her over.
