The line between “good” and “bad” has long since blurred. No matter how vile the crime and how clear the evidence the “bad” guys nowadays all have more rabid, louder and devoted fans than the “good” guys. There is about 2,000 years of recorded history to clarify that picture. Just because you do not like the picture (I often don’t either) doesn’t mean it is not there.
CARACAS, Venezuela—Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez pledged on Saturday to meet Caribbean nations’ oil needs for years to come, and urged the region to unite and seek greater independence from the United States.
Chavez deepened past pledges to share his country’s oil wealth as he addressed a summit of nations taking part in Venezuela’s Petrocaribe oil initiative, which supplies fuel under preferential terms.
“If we truly unite ... the grandchildren of our grandchildren will have no energy problems,” Chavez said. He predicted oil prices will soon hit $100 a barrel but said “the Caribbean shouldn’t have problems this century and beyond.”
“Venezuela puts this oil wealth at the disposition of our peoples of the Caribbean,” Chavez said. “It belongs to all of us. We’re going to share it like Christ. ... It will be enough for everyone.”

I clicked on the link which took me to some Chavez worshipping site. I clicked the link there, expecting to find something about the Rockefellers, but instead was taken to a wiki article about electronic id-ing where the only Rockefeller reference was to Rockefeller University.
Is the writer of this article trying to say that the Trilateral group or the Bilderburgers or the Illuminati have Chavez in their sights? The author cannot possibly believe that the Rockefellers still have the political clout they had forty or fifty years ago, can he? My kids are in their late twenties, early thirties, and I’ll bet not a single one of them knows the name Rockefeller.
I remember a cordial hello when you guys were beginning to be famous guys around Hollywood at some party. I remember several times getting a few giggles out of your humor. I remember not being bothered as you traded on my name among others to appear witty, above it all, and likeable to your crowd. I never mind being of service, in satire and silliness.
I do mind when anybody who doesn’t have a child, doesn’t have a child at war, or isn’t or won’t be in harm’s way themselves, is encouraging that there’s “no shame in not voting” “if you don’t know what you’re talking about” (Mr. Stone) without mentioning the shame of not knowing what your talking about, and encouraging people to know. You guys are talented young guys but alas, primarily young guys. It’s all well to joke about me or whomever you choose. Not so well, to encourage irresponsibility that will ultimately lead to the disembowelment, mutilation, exploitation, and death of innocent people throughout the world. The vote matters to them. No one’s ignorance, indcluding a couple of hip cross-dressers, is an excuse.

Chavez Reads Castro Letter to Underscore Cuban Leader’s Health

Sept. 2 (Bloomberg)—Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez read a letter from Fidel Castro on his weekly television show today to underscore his position that the 80-year-old Cuban leader has largely recovered from surgery last year.
Speculation over Castro’s health has flared periodically since he handed daily management of the Caribbean state to his brother Raul on July 31, 2006, the first time he had ceded control of Cuba in 47 years.
``Don’t be scared by the single white hair you discovered in your black hair,’’ Castro wrote, according to a transcript produced by state-run Venezuela National Radio. ``My problem is that I don’t have a black hair on my white scalp. When you get to this moment, you’ll discover you lack more than ever the time to meditate and deepen.’’
