This is simply, one of the best articles I have read this year. It exemplifies that special blend that one sometimes find in a man who has been trained to think philosophically, to study history and has lived a long life through which to practice those arts and use it to interpret the world around him. As such I have titled the thread with the articles title and encourage all to read it through. The author is the Frenchman Andres Glucksmann.
