Manufacturing Dissent - Uncovering Michael Moore

Of course, Moorewatch readers knew all of this last year, but it never hurts a case to have others verify your information independantly.

However, our research shows that the volunteer force is already equitable. That is, it is highly likely that reinstating the draft would erode military effectiveness, increase American fatalities, destroy personal freedom, and even produce a less socioeconomically “privileged” military in the process.

In summary, we found that, on average, 1999 recruits were more highly educated than the equivalent general population, more rural and less urban in origin, and of similar income status. We did not find evidence of minority racial exploitation (by race or by race-weighted ZIP code areas). We did find evidence of a “Southern military tradition” in that some states, notably in the South and West, provide a much higher proportion of enlisted troops by population.

If you’d like a refresher on what this site presented last summer, you can read paratrooper’s excellent articles here and here.

C’mon, this is a report promulgated by the Heritage Foundation!  Those racist, sexist, heteronormative racists!  Of course they’ll just print any lying research to ensure the sons of Halliburton never have to give their blood for oil!

Gah. One radio station in my city plays that stupid goddamn whine-rock song by System of a Down which is basically every Leftardism stuffed into a really crappy bit of music CONSTANTLY. Literally, should you switch over to them, there seems to be about a 75% chance they’ll be playing it… just trying at random on different days, it happened to me three times. ... In a row.
Of course, this was also the radio station whose idea of fourth of July programming was to play every single anti-war or “protest” song that they could get their hands on.

Steve Earle has a song “rich mans war” and they just played it on CMT, i wanted to punch the TV out, same stupid as hell propaganda, and then the last verse is about a kid named Ali from the gaza strip who is a poor soul fooled into a rich mans war driven to a suicide bomb location by a rich fat guy in a new Mercedes.

It doesn’t really matter. No matter how much evidence to the contrary they have slapping them in the face… no matter how many poeple with more intelligence and better information they have calling them onto the carpet, no matter how many mountains of data they have to climb over to get back to a position of ignorant ranting… people like Michael Moore, Charles “Chucky Cheese” Schumer, Jimmy Carter, Tim Robbins, etc., will unflinchingly trudge on in their mission to spread the same tired, ignorant, glaringly untrue party line.
(Helluva run-on sentence, huh?)

Someone here described it quite well when they said liberal screaming points (They don’t really talk very much, do they?) are like cartoon characters who get blown-up, squashed, thrown off cliffs, etc., but keep coming back, apparently none the worse for wear.

So from here on, I will categorize all of these discredited, disproven, rediculously ignorant, yet incredibly resiliant liberal screaming points under the banner of “Wyle E.Coytote-isms”.
I hope you join me in making this label stick.

I always thought of it as “Black Knight-isms”, Beause every time i see that black knight skit from Monty Python and the holy grail I think of the left, they get an arm cut off..tis but a scratch, get their legs cut off...Tis but a scratch!

Zelots have not been stopped by facts before… after all facts and logic do not matter, only emotion and feelings do.

Has Moore ever bothered to ask black servicemen what they think of their noble service? Nope. Didn’t think so.

Heh. I have about 10 or so Wile E. Coyotes in my public speaking class. This moron the other day was talking about how Bush and Cheney and Osama are apparently in a cave somewhere counting the money they’ve made off the war. Moments like that make me wonder whether liberals just like to run their mouths off without a care for what they are actually saying. Seriously, that’s the only explanation I can come up with to explain these “Crucible-isms”.

I had a guy like that in my American History course a couple semesters back.  He was a black guy always talking about how bad republicans are and white society and blah blah blah.  About halway through the term I get fed up w/ it and started shooting down each and every one of his claims.  There was some girl in class as well who backed him up, so I shoved her shit back down her throat as well.  By the 3/4 mark of the semester, they both were done talking.  The Proffesor approved.

Really? I’m kinda shocked, actually.
Generally, they’re the first to hand out reprimands and short grades for anyone not swallowing leftist propaganda with a smile.

When i was in college, i had this professor that flat out told the class he was a liberal, but enjoyed a good debate.  Me being a conservative, would hold very entertaining and well mannered conversations with him.  He would joke that anyone could make a great point, but in the end he was always right.  By far the only fair liberal ive ever met in that we would atually listen and comment on the realtive points. (a nicest in terms of politics).

I recieved in ‘A’ in class.

I have yet to meet any liberal like this again.  (did something change?)

I’ve had two liberal education professors who couldn’t have been more different.  The first was a liberal who ran a Testing and Measurment class and LOVED to debate.  We went back and forth with one another from day one.  He’d quote Chomsky and I’d fire Hitchens back.  I even printed out a good amount of info from this and other sites when the subject of Moore came up and he loved it.  My classmates often got angry, but he ate it up and even said I pointed out many things he didn’t realize about Moore.

The second was much different.  He ran the Sociological Foundations of Education class, which should have been called “Educational Communism” as there was an entire section on Marx that had little to nothing to do with the educational process.  His class was more about education and more about indoctrination.  He did NOT like to be challenged.  The odd part was, he wouldn’t get angry or indignant, or even shoot back information in a debate.  He would start stammering and literally shaking, like a child who had his hand caught in the cookie jar.

Liek any professor in college, its more important to know how to make them like you than to actually do your best work.  The egos are astounding.
