Manufacturing Dissent - Uncovering Michael Moore

A grin without a cat! It’s the most curious thing I ever saw in all my life!

Posted by JimK on 09/26/05 at 09:02 PM

So it looks like Mama Moonbat got arrested today after ignoring orders from police concerned about the growing crowd outside the White House...who, unlike the rally this weekend, did not have a permit or any semblance of organization.  There’s a video you can see for yourself (required Real Video...boo hiss!).  Before anyone raises the spectre of violating the First Amendment...no one said that couldn’t assemble.  Assembly, however, has been legally defined as organized and that requires planning...crowd control...and permits so the city can provide both policing and protection.  You can’t just show up somewhere with a mob.

Interesting thing to note in the video: Mama Moonbat is smiling her ass off.  Grieving mother, eh?  Just wants to protest the war?  Really?  Why the smiles when the police showed up, Sheehan?  Perhaps this little game was, oh, I don’t know, orchestrated?

image

Update

Wow.  Look at her face in this one:

image

It’s like she thinks she’s at Disneyland.  You know what?  To her...she is.

Another interesting point in the video...she grins like the Cheshire Cat and makes the cops carry her until she’s just out of the scrum of activists and reporters...where all of a sudden, she walks on her own.  What a carefully orchestrated little piece of acting that was.  In fact, in a rare moment of honesty, cameras captured Mama Moonbat relaxing before the event:

image

The part of the video that made me laugh was these aging hippy nutjobs singing “This Little Light of Mine.” Why not start a bonfire and dance naked in the street for frig’s sake?  Nothing says “I’m desperate to recapture my fiery youth” than old folks singing songs that were co-opted as protest music in the 60s.

Michael, you should be proud.  You taught her to fake it very, very well.

LOL....well, that would explain the smile on her face...and the thinly veiled look of disgust on his.  No wonder he’s looking away.  At least he’s wearing gloves.

Geez, when will her 15 minutes end, already???!!

Hopefully she doesn’t start protesting the D.C. police saying that they “touched the mother of a dead soldier in an improper manner so they could reduce her absolute moral authority”

One other thought.

I don’t think that Succubus Sheehan would be as annoying if she actually looked like the girl in the Attention Whore Pic.  Well maybe she would be just as annoying, but much easier to look at.

So, Cindy is out and released her statement and I can only surmise that this woman has no worse enemy than herself. Yet again she has no focus in “her” message and her own sharpened words bleed any and all legitimacy from her.

She starts with “The rumors are true this time.” Which I think pretty much solidifies what we already knew from the start. Every time we heard that ‘Cindy was going to be arrested’ it was simply all part of her own attempt at sensationalism. She then after glossing over her actual arrest account details, she jumps into hitting all 8 moonbat cylinders, using everything on the Michael Moore list of talking points.

Bush is not really the president, Karl Rove, torture, South America, Haliburton, psst boo!! Seriously. She hit all of those points. A shotgun couldn’t muster a spread that big yet this is what she about and has always been about.

My favorite part?

The fine for “demonstrating without a permit” is $75.00. I am certain that I won’t pay it.

Of course not. You’re being paid for your services as is, I’m sure this is covered.

I couldn’t help but notice the irony of Casey’s Mom being carried out by police.

Elsewhere in the world, the lifeless body of a child is being carried out of the rubble of a car bomb explosion because some terrorist watched CNN and Casey’s Mom, saying, “Maybe I’ll stick it out a bit longer.  It looks like the Americans are losing resolve.”

If you want to compare and contrast.  Look at Casey’s Mom, and now look at what her actions indirectly wrought.  Maybe it was one of Casey’s brothers in arms...?

An enemy without morale would have been crushed long ago.  Why are there some in this country who are intent upon giving it to them?

Hm. One wonders if there isn’t some sort of law against publicly stating you’re going to refuse to pay a fine. At the very least, she could get arrested again, when that fine goes unpaid and goes to warrant.

We’ve reached the point where Casey’s mom, the all too willing MEdia and the rest of lefty, have totally marginalized the sacrifices our troops have made and will make in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Blinded by their hatred for Bush, they’ve made a mockery of our troops on the world stage, and for that I hold them in disdain.  I believe that I’ve never witnessed more selfishness in my entire life.  If we can expect 3 more years of this why don’t we just pull the plug on Casey’s mom right here and now?  I can’t waste anymore energy on such a self-righteous, ignorant, self-centered clump of shit.

This is the part that annoys me (from ProgrammingMarine’s link)
“We all know by now why George won’t meet with parents of the soldiers he has killed who disagree with him.”

If a drug dealer kills a cop, should we blame the Congress for making drugs illegal?

If a fireman dies in a fire caused by an arsonist, should we blame God for the laws of phyics?

I hate, hate, hate, hate how these moonbats completely refuse to give any responsibility to the people that actually pulled the trigger.

Posted by twoarmman  on  09/27/2005  at  09:31 AM (Link to this comment | )

“We all know by now why George won’t meet with parents of the soldiers he has killed who disagree with him.”

um… he already met with you Cindy… But don’t let FACTS get in the way of your “movement.”

Some dude in her little group jumped the fence to the white house.  I’m fine with these idiotic protests/orgies but once people start doing things like jumping the White House fence it’s time for an ass whoopin.

This was so obviously orchestrated it is just sad.  Her little protest/orgy didn’t get that much play because of the hurricane and the fact that it isn’t that important, so she decides to get arrested to get back in the news.  You just KNOW she went there with every intention of getting arrested.

I can’t wait to see how the MSM handles this.  I think she may be beyond their help this time, and they won’t go down with the sinking Cindy so look for them to throw he overboard.  I could be wrong, but I think this could be her swan song…

We actually had a good time singing old church songs and old protest songs while we waited.

Who is she greiving for?

Not to mention the condoned torture that pervades the military prisons these days.

When you run out of arguments, recycle old ones.

The Patriot Act and denying us our rights to peaceably assemble are serious breaches of the Bill of Rights.

Id like to see her logic for this one.

Karl Rove (besides just being a very creepy man) outed a CIA agent and was responsible for endangering many of our covert agents worldwide.

Again with the old arguments (that and she has no basis for truth on these)

Dick Cheney’s old company is reaping profits beyond anyone’s wildest imaginations in their no-bid contracts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and New Orleans.

Yes, and its all the fault of Cheney.  Since he used to work for the Company, and there hasnt been anything illegal about the no-bd contracts

What is so unbelievable is that WE were arrested for exercising our first amendment rights and these people are running free to enjoy their lives of crime and to wreak havoc on the world.

As said earlier, she had the right to a peacefull assembly, which required permits, permits that did not allow her to sit and gather/obstruct.  Its humurous how she suddenly believes that she was well within her amendment rights.

Tragic irony at it’s finest.

No… irony would be seeing one of the suicide bombers she finds so much personal solidarity with walk into the middle of her “protest”, and detonate.

Plus, it would just be freakin’ sweet.

<Gack!> Geez.. why is it always the fat/ugly ones that want to take their clothes off???

Once… just once, I’d like to see someone who looks like Angelina Jolie protesting in this manner.

No wonder the one chick’s crying. I’d weep my ass off, too if I looked like that, naked.

First off I must say that was some of the ugliest nudity I have ever seen.  I think for the most part all of the hippies that were taking their clothes off in the 60’s and 70’s are the ones still doing it today.  I guess all of these tree huggers in D.C. just got all wrapped up in the nostalgia, and forgot that they arenow fat middle aged hippies.

Demonethesis,

Isn’t that what the moonbats and MM are all about turning weak supposition into alleged incontrovertable fact by saying it over and over. Imagine that! The POTUS does not want to meet with every lunatic that requests it. I still think it’s laughable that MM and his crowd picked Cindy Sleazehan to be their poster child.  Pretty weak if that is the best you can do. But I suppose every other moonbat had at least a shred of dignity left and was not about to cop MM’s joint like Cindy.(if she can find it under the folds) I remember a while ago I think Jim, wrote an eloquent piece and ended with ,show some repect.  I hope that quaint notion has been put to bed.

Sorry, but precisely how seriously am I supposed to take a bunch of frumpy, middle-aged ex-hippes who seem to think that flopping their wrinkled feedbags all over Pennsylvania Avenue is somehow going to improve the strength of their argument?

Get real. The only reason they’re swinging their 55 year old funbags around down there is to prove, once and for all, that there really is something out there that sags lower than their credibility.

WHAT: In the tradition of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr., hundreds of people from throughout the United States will participate in a nonviolent civil disobedience action on Monday, Sept. 26 at the White House. Cindy Sheehan will participate in the action and risk arrest as will members of the clergy and other military families.

Holy shit did I call it or what?  didnt I say they were going to compare her to Ghandi and MLK?
These moonbat libtards are SOOOOOO frikkin predictable!

http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/?q=node/3119
The first line of the article:

I got to the White House around noon and found hundreds of people gathered awaiting the arrival of marchers who planned to get themselves arrested protesting the war.

So, somebody has been reading across the net and watching the coverage and judgeing by the quick response, they already told Cindy to come out and explain. Because of course, yet again, she misses the point of commentary regarding her actions.

I don’t think I can be challenged for my analysis of the war and for what I say because it is all the truth and comes from my heart, so I have to be attacked for smiling.

Do you really think we were attacking you just for smiling, Cindy? We smiled with you, because you continue to prove our point from the beginning.

This was NEVER about your son or a quest to speak with the President.

Buzz,

Once again I am slightly surprised that the leftisits chose this women.  She is close to being a stone idiot. This comment is coming out of the mouth of a near moron. I guess they still beleive noone will challenge her. From the comments I read on other sites she has been losing support rapidly even from the zealots, especially those in Texas and La. because of her comments on Rita.

These two sentences together don’t make sense to me. You’re actually surprised they chose an idiot? Just look at the new trolls we’ve had cropping up in the Sheehan posts. They’ve run out of anyone vaguely intelligent-sounding they had, the idiots are all they have left.

Posted by dalmatians  on  09/28/2005  at  12:29 AM (Link to this comment | )

So, like, did she think about how it would have been if she had been arrested in prewar Iraq, demonstrating against ole Saddam?

Posted by yngcelt  on  09/28/2005  at  02:07 AM (Link to this comment | )

Well I was posting on the website Daily Kos and just like Democratic Underground they deleted all of my posts and now I’m blocked from posting comments.
But to show how “open minded” and “nonfascist” they are, the regular libtard moonbats have started some kind of personal defamation campaign against me.  They have been posting comments with nasty remarks about me and got my e-mail address from moorewatch after reading some of my posts.
One of them managed to Google me and found letters I wrote to the local newspapers and have now threatened to call my work and make trouble for me.  Can you say “Harassment”?

Posted by Buzz  on  09/28/2005  at  02:44 AM (Link to this comment | )

Fletch,

Rann is right.  The left picked Sheehan because she’s a dupe . . . a lackey . . . a mindless fool who is willing to deliver their message not really understanding the content.  Trouble is she isn’t smart enough to know when to shut up.  Sometimes it isn’t what you say that’s important . . . it’s what you don’t say.  Sheehan’s comments regarding Rita, Halliburton, “Occupied” New Orleans, etc. are prime examples of a fool bent on exposing themselves for what they are.

What’s so irritating about Sheehan is that she believes the rest of us are as ignorant as she is.  Otherwise, she wouldn’t be making such dim-witted statements expecting us to believe her critical “analysis” which hardly fills one small bumper sticker on a VW Microbus.  It’s just plain insulting.

But hey, the left deserves Sheehan . . . they got what they paid for.

Seems she was a little upset that Dubya’s Hurricanes (brought to you by the boys at Halliburton’s Weather Machine division) may have stolen a bit of her coverage.

Question, How many terrorist where in Iraq before the war?  ZERO.

According to CNN, your answer is incorrect.  Would you like to change your answer or your opinion of CNN?

Hmmm.  I didn’t consider that given the options of changing your answer or your opinion, you would change the question.  Get back to me when you can finish your first thought.

You said CNN shows the whole story.
You said there were no terrorists in Iraq before the war.
CNN says there were terrorists in Iraq before the war.

Make that fit together, mmmm k?

Posted by Demonthesis  on  09/28/2005  at  05:16 PM (Link to this comment | )

While I do not believe that I am anywhere near the most intelligent person who post on this site, I do believe that I am intelligent enough to draw this conclusion...If a terrorist is someone who uses fear to gain a political end, and Sadaam used fear to maintain control, then Sadaam was a terroist.  Not to mention his two sons and most of his staff.  So, to say that there were no terrorist in Iraq is pretty far fetched, even for speculation.

Posted by Camkrisand  on  09/28/2005  at  05:43 PM (Link to this comment | )

He also has given safe haven to a number of terrorists, among others Abu Nidal, if I am not mistaken.  There have been terrorists in the world before 9/11, and Saddam had no compunction against giving them amnesty in his country and not extraditing them.
