Cold, Hard Cash
From WorldThreats.com:
Did Democratic propagandameister Michael Moore fib last month when said during an interview that he hadn’t made any money from his Bush-bashing flick, “Fahrenheit 9/11.”
According to the March issue of Vanity Fair, Moore stands to pocket millions in profits from the movie.
But in January, during an interview about his film on the U.K.’s Channel 4 network, Moore was asked: “If you are so concerned about helping our troops in Iraq, why don’t you donate 100 percent of the money from your movies to that cause?”
Moore shot back: “I haven’t seen a dime from this movie!”
According to Vanity Fair, however, “Fahrenheit 9/11” cost $6 million to produce and generated box office sales of more than $200 million.
The magazine said that Moore stands to pocket about a quarter of that gross, which would be $50 million.
Mikey will hide behind a technicality on this one, should anyone ever actually challenge him. “Well,” he’ll say. “At the time I said that I hadn’t received a royalty check, so what I said wasn’t a lie.”
