Michael Moore meetup, August 18th
In a few weeks, at 561 locations, Michael Moore fans across the US are going to have a “Howard Dean” style meetup at a location near you. About 2500 people have signed up so far.
Have you ever wanted to be a fly on the wall when a bunch of Moore fans get together to discuss their plans ( to buy votes perhaps)? The locations are mostly at public bars. You can go here to look up a location near you.
I’m not suggesting anyone go and disrupt any of these meetings. I just thought you’d want to know in the event you’d want to attend.
Update from JimK - Love it! However, let me stress again, in the strongest terms possible: DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU INTEND TO DISRUPT THE MEETING. The last thing we (meaning those who oppose Moore, not any particular other group) need is to act like radical demonstrators who burn cities to protest the WTO. If you go, stay quiet, take notes, report back. Don’t wear a shirt designed to piss anyone off (although you should definitely buy a couple today!)...just go, shake hand, be polite and come back and tell us what the secret handshake is. :)
