Manufacturing Dissent - Uncovering Michael Moore

Rising from Lenin’s Tomb

Oh God, this would be brilliantly entertaining to watch.

Cindy Sheehan, the soldier’s mother who galvanized the anti-war movement, said Sunday that she plans to seek House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s congressional seat unless she introduces articles of impeachment against President Bush in the next two weeks.

Sheehan said she will run against the San Francisco Democrat in 2008 as an independent if Pelosi does not seek by July 23 to impeach Bush. That’s when Sheehan and her supporters are to arrive in Washington, D.C., after a 13-day caravan and walking tour starting next week from the group’s war protest site near Bush’s Crawford ranch.

“Democrats and Americans feel betrayed by the Democratic leadership,” Sheehan told The Associated Press. “We hired them to bring an end to the war. I’m not too far from San Francisco, so it wouldn’t be too big of a move for me. I would give her a run for her money.”

She’s absolutely right.  There are no more than a handful of people who could run against Pelosi in San Francisco and launch a legitimate challenge.  You’d have to find a candidate with credibility who’s even more of a batshit crazy leftie, and Sheehan certainly meets those criteria.

Sheehan, who has never held political office, recently said that she was leaving the Democratic Party because it “caved” in to the president. Last week, she announced her caravan to Washington, an undertaking she calls the “people’s accountability movement.”

“I didn’t expect to be back so soon, but the focus is different than it was before,” Sheehan said Sunday.

“But it had been a few months, and frankly my ego couldn’t handle it,” continued Sheehan.  “I went from being someone in the public eye to being a disgusting, wrinkled, prune-faced has-been failure.  Think about it.  I was being hosted by such visionaries as Hugo Chavez.  I went from Marxist revolutionary for peace to a suburban housewife.  Uh, thanks but no thanks.  Now where are those cameras, I’ve got a dead son to whore out!”

Oh God, this would be brilliantly entertaining to watch.

The debate between the two would be special indeed.

I guess that directly contradicts her promise to us a couple of months ago…

Just when I thought we were free of the vicelike grip of her media exposure.

A real gem, she is, though:

The first conclusion is that I was the darling of the so-called left as long as I limited my protests to George Bush and the Republican Party. Of course, I was slandered and libeled by the right as a “tool” of the Democratic Party.

“Translation: the Democratic party used me as a political tool, and The Right (tm) slandered me by saying the Democratic party used me as a political tool.”

However, when I started to hold the Democratic Party to the same standards that I held the Republican Party, support for my cause started to erode and the “left” started labeling me with the same slurs that the right used.

Translation: “when I started realizing the Dems weren’t wacko-liberal ENOUGH, then they stopped using me as a tool and ripped me instead.  Never mind that I just said it was slanderous to say I was being used as a tool.”

It amazes me that people who are sharp on the issues and can zero in like a laser beam on lies, misrepresentations, and political expediency when it comes to one party refuse to recognize it in their own party.

How many times, HOW MANY TIMES, have I told people over and over and over again that the Dems do this, that they accuse Republicans of all the misdeeds going on in their OWN PARTY?  What she failed to mention is that Republicans tend to resign or go to jail when found out, while Democrats tend to chair congressional committees for about 20 years after the fact.  I’m truly sorry that she had to learn The Awful Truth about the Dems in this fashion, but how long do people rail against our observations of the left, only to turn around and say exactly what we’ve been saying all this time?

<skips long section about Cindy having a martyr complex>

George Bush will never be impeached because if the Democrats dig too deeply, they may unearth a few skeletons in their own graves and the system will perpetuate itself in perpetuity.

That’s because we have a redundant system steeped in redundancy.

This is not my “Checkers” moment, because I will never give up trying to help people in the world who are harmed by the empire of the good old US of A, but I am finished working in, or outside of this system.

... or… not.

Man, what planet do you have to be living on when you want to run against NANCY PELOSI because you think she’s TOO CONSERVATIVE?

She was a political “tool” and will still be one.  She is not smart enough to realize it.

If Sheehan runs for Pelosi’s seat, I will actively start campaigning for her.

I would love, LOVE to see her attempt to oust Pelosi just to see what the media reaction would be.

I’m going to guess that if she mounted a serious campaign the media would start to ignore her.

Bashing Bush and republicans suits their needs. Bashing dems? No so much.

She never put a headstone on Casey’s grave.

Regarding Casey’s headstone: Someone invented a machine just for her that allows letters to be embossed onto hemp but but sadly it utilized compressed C02....

Love the translation from moonbat to english, w0rf, that was not not easy to wrap my head around until you got done with it.....

biafra;

I woke up my four year old laughing at that one!
Wish I could take credit for that tasty bit of humor.

That’s messed up.

“Do what I tell you or else I’ll run against you. Be my puppet or else I will take your seat in office.”

That’s just low.
