Upgrade
I just upgraded the site with the latest release of EE, hoping that it would fix the category problem. It did not. So it’s still broken. Someday I’ll figure it out. In the mean time, I am changing the archive and category links to the pages that list them out in completion. Those work…
One new feature I activated is in the comment system. 60 days after an entry, the comments will stop allowing new comments to be added. It will help cut down on sheer mass.
There are a lot of features added that don’t have any effect on your enjoyment, but contributing authors will appreciate them in the control panel. Also, the RSS feed is supposed to conform more tightly to standards, so that’s good.
