Chain chain chain…chain of fools…
Remember this?
Fuck all these small businesses - fuck ‘em all! Bring in the chains. The small businesspeople are the rednecks that run the town and suppress the people. Fuck ‘em all. That’s how I feel.”
Well guess what? Target, Amazon Get Michael Moore DVD Set
Target and Amazon.com will be the exclusive sellers of the “Michael Moore DVD Collector’s Set,” which streets Oct. 5 from MGM Home Entertainment.
Cashing in even harder on the war, on 9/11, on the tragedies in Columbine, now Mikey’s selling you a box set, and the Moore-ons will eat it up. And look who gets the exclusive sales contract? Big business chains.
Nice. He’s all for the little guy, a real man of the people, eh?
Flip-Flopper! :)
Michael Moore Plans Return to Convention
Filmmaker Michael Moore said he will return to the Republican National Convention where delegates roundly booed his presence on opening night.
Moore is covering the convention this week as an opinion columnist for USA Today and arrived at Madison Square Garden in time for Sen. John McCain’s primetime speech on Monday night.
When McCain alluded to Moore’s anti-Bush documentary “Fahrenheit 9/11” delegates began chanting and booing in the direction of the filmmaker, who was in the media section of the convention hall.
“I now know what the Christians probably felt like walking into the Coliseum,” Moore said Tuesday in an interview with The Associated Press.
Moore, who seemed to relish the tumult, said he would return despite the chilly reception “because I’m here to cover the convention and I’m here to write about what I see.”
Well isn;t that special. Wonder what changed his mind!
Glad to see he’s going to actually *attend* the convention he is being paid to cover.
Hate Mail
The hate mail I’ve received today has been spectacular. Here’s a few of the best ones.
Wow. What a pussy
Moore Won’t Return to Madison Square Garden
Following all the commotion last night, Michael Moore will not be returning to Madison Square Garden for the Republican National Convention, E&P has learned. According to editors at USA Today, which is publishing his daily column this week, Moore told them that he was choosing not to return again.
However, they said he would continue to write his daily column and they stressed that in no way did they second-guess their decision to have him write the commentary.
Moore fans, let me point out something very, very important here.
Michael Moore will not be returning to Madison Square Garden for the Republican National Convention
they said he would continue to write his daily column
He’s going to report on a convention he’s not attending?
Is any other major media outlet doing that? Reporting on the convention without being there? Even bloggers are only reporting on *coverage* of the convention unless they are inside the building.
So Moore is going to write a week’s worth of columns about something he’s watching on TV like the rest of us. Interesting. USA Today just told the world that the answer to “what liberal media” is “This one, dumbasses, USA Today. Isn’t it obvious?”
Thanks to unpoppy for the link.

Wanted: Footage of the Moore boo-fest at the RNC
If anyone has video they can upload of the footage of Moore being booed at the convention, shoot me an email. I’ll give you a spot you can upload it on our server.
I KNEW I should have checked the schedule to see who was speaking. I would have TiVo’d McCain.
Marching? I doubt it.
Onward Leftist Soldiers...
America’s favorite director of far-fetched fiction Michael Moore teams up with the king of poverty pimps and race baiters, Jesse Jackson, as they march, or in Moore’s case waddle, in Manhattan.
I would LOVE to know how many blocks Moore walked. And Jesse? Mr. Hymietown is pretending to care about NYC? I guess racism is acceptable to Mikey.
A Traitor’s Love
Now this guy is Michael Moore’s kind of soldier.
The defense for Spc. Ryan Anderson faces a black-and-white challenge: The tank crewman is shown on videotape willingly sharing military information with federal undercover agents he believed to be al Qaeda members.
Anderson, 27, was set to begin his court martial Monday on charges he tried to help the terrorist group. The trial at Fort Lewis, south of Seattle, was expected to last five days.
Anderson pleaded innocent August 9 to five counts of trying to provide the al Qaeda terrorist network with information about U.S. troop strength and tactics, as well as methods for killing American soldiers.
Anderson, a member of the Washington National Guard’s 81st Armor Brigade now in Iraq, faces life in prison without parole. A conviction requires agreement by two-thirds of a panel of commissioned officers. ...
Anderson was raised Lutheran but began studying Islam while attending Washington State University.
Wow, a traitor to America and a convert to the Religion of Peace! Whod’a ever thought those two things could go together!
“While I love my country, I think the leaders have taken this horrible road,” he said on the video. “I have no belief in what the American Army has asked me to do. They have sent me to die.”
And that, my friends, is exactly the message that Michael Moore wants to hear from soldiers. The fact that the people who hold this view are often times traitors to their country shouldin no way question their patriotism. Right, lefties?

Those Poor, Stupid, Recruits. Part 4 in a series
In the movie Fahrenheit 9-11, Director Michael Moore narrates a scene where he approaches Congressmen and Senators, asking if they had any children they’d like to sign up to go fight in Iraq. The way it is edited, we don’t know for sure what kind answers he actually got. Putting aside the ridiculous notion that a parent could actually sign their minor child up for the military, or the even more ridiculous notion that a parent could actually have that kind of authority over their adult (18 or older) children, we still get the point Moore was trying to make.

Omar makes the point
It doesn’t get more plain than this.
You sit in a restaurant like this one and see families relaxing with their children playing and having fun late at night and you feel that there’s ‘something’ wrong in the way MSM is dealing with the Iraqi issue. I watch TV and I see hell breaking around me then I go outside and see enough normalcy AND progress to make me believe that the people in the media are not here to report how’s life going but rather they are here reporting pre-prepared stories and to be faced with something that contradicts the picture they have in their minds would be really annoying and will mean more hard work to try to find the truth or something close to it.
So let me see, I’m a reporter in Iraq and I’m here to tell stories that sell from a land that has been invaded, as everyone is saying it was invaded and not liberated. God, that must be awful! Ok so I need destruction, death, fear, clashes in the streets, angry mob...etc. Where do families having dinner in a place they couldn’t afford before the war, or a father buying a new car for his son which he also couldn’t afford before, or a man renewing his house which was falling apart, or free speech and flourishing business, where does all this fit in such a frame?! It doesn’t! Besides, where’s the action in such boring stories!? Moreover, there are pictures of death and destruction and they only need some ‘further clarification’, and that’s easier than making a whole new story. So why bother! I already have frames for good stories and I’ve worked hard in that and it would be a shame to waste all that effort and start all over again. So let’s get the story we worked on and get the hell out of here.
The Michael Moores and MoveOns and Al Frankens of the world would still have you believe that nothing good has happened in Iraq, that it is a quagmire, Vietnam, blah blah blah. And then you hear from someone who lives there. And all those people are suddenly revealed for the shrill, ill-informed haters that they really are.
