Dead Man Endorsing
And now, the most appropriate presidential endorsement you will ever see.
Fidel Castro, the Cuban president, has predicted that Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama will team up to win the 2008 US presidential election.
“The word today is that an apparently unbeatable ticket could be Hillary for president and Obama as her running mate,” the ailing leader wrote in an editorial column in Granma, the Cuban Communist Party’s newspaper.
It’s a natural endorsement, considering either Clinton or Obama would bring Cuba’s healthcare system to America.

Did you actually read the article?
Or may be you don’t understand the difference between a “prediction" and an “endorsement”.
You may want to look at these articles:

Or maybe you should go back to posting about the latest gun crimes in England…
Details, schmetails.
Take the pic of Donald Rumsfeld’s shaking hands with Saddam Husseinm which is proof positive of the former’s 100% complicity in Iraq’s mustard gassing of Iranian orphans for oil, cuz its obvious from the picture that Rumsfeld hates Muslims. Or so I’ve heard from people who know how to really read a photograph.
This is why Castro indeed endorsed Obama, noble “Dr”Obama underlined this Monday, August 20, according to press wires, that if he gets to the White House, “he will lighten the restrictions imposed by Washington over the Island so that Cubans residents of the United States can visit their family or send them money”.
Details, schmetails.
Yeah, right. This is the main “fact” reported by Lee… in his post entitled “Dead Man Endorsing”
Castro indeed endorsed Obama
I did not see that in these articles.
Were do you get that from?
Fact is we don’t know that Castro even said anything about Obama and Clinton as he could well be dead on the transparent island paradise he created for his people.
Another fact is that until the Noble Thinkers over at the DemocraticUnderground, such as:

23. The Castro “endorsement” for Clobama should help Edwards in Florida
stop calling it an “endorsement” its an effing “endorsement”.
“Clobama”. “Bushitler”. Priceless.
In his commentary, Castro singled out former US president Jimmy Carter for praise. He said Carter, who served as president from 1977 to 1981, was the only US leader who “for ethical, religious reasons was not an accomplice to brutal terrorism against Cuba.”
A vain, delusional, brtual butthole on his very own deathbed, surrounded and adored by fart-huffing sycophants.
The statement that Castro endorsed Obama and Clinton is erroneous. period. No matter what a moron may have claimed somewhere at DU.
Castro indeed endorsed Obama
still waiting for the link…
Link, schmink.
Castro is on record saying he kinda liked Bill, and also Obama’s proposal to (wholly one-sidedly) ease them US-Cuba restrictions if elected President. This is old hat by now. No link necessary.
Why else would Castro even stop talking about himself long enough, whilst denouncing the Evil Empire, to even mention a Obama/Clinton teaming and call it “unbeatable” if not to raise awareness about, i.e. “endorse”, it?
Because now his idolators will mull this over and come to the same deep conclusion; namely that the only way to win one for the Dems is to vote for Clobama. So they vote Clobama just as Castro “predicted” by “endorsing” Clobama. Castro walks away looking like a sage while getting exactly what he wanted.
Castro would like Clobama to win - is this really so hard to thread together?
I like “Hillarack” better than “Clobama”. It took me two seconds to come up with that one. The marketing skills at DU are weak. I retract the last statement. Their marketing skills are non-existent.
It’s good to hear from you biafra.
Castro would like Clobama to win - is this really so hard to thread together?
Only if your agenda is to defend all things Democrat, regardless of what they are. Party first, motherfucker. Get with it or get left behind! ;)
By the way, I sure hope the Castro you mean is Raul, ‘cuz I think Fidel is pushin’ up the daisies. He has ceased to be. He is an ex-dictator. ;)
Castro is on record saying he kinda liked Bill, and also Obama’s proposal to (wholly one-sidedly) ease them US-Cuba restrictions if elected President.
BULLSHIT. Where do you get this crap from?
“he kinda liked Bill”: what a strong argument!
This old hat by now. No link necessary.
Yeah, right. That makes things easier for you.
Castro would like Clobama to win - is this really so hard to thread together?
It’s possible, I honestly don’t know. Whatever you or I may think, Castro did not endorse Obama and Clinton as was claimed by Lee. period.
I simply Google “Castro Clinton” and get:
Friday, 8 September, 2000 The United States has confirmed that President Bill Clinton and the Cuban leader, Fidel Castro, shook hands and exchanged a few words after a lunch during the UN’s Millennium Summit in New York. The White House originally denied that a handshake had taken place, but later admitted it had occurred.
What? The Clinton White House lied? Regardless, history has long since confirmed that Billie Boy was a true free-wheeling rock and roll star set out to heal the world, make it a better place. Thats all that counts. Unless this a Rethuglican lie, too, it appears Castro initiated the encounter.
And Castro, being the vainglorious, brutal, self-centered, pompous shitebag ass that he is, passed judgment on Clinton thusly:
Castro said Bill Clinton was friendly and intelligent, and that Jimmy Carter was the only U.S. president he has met who “was not an accomplice to terrorism against Cuba.”
Ever living in the past, our Fidelio. But of course Clinton was intelligent: he wisely shook the Hefe’s hand. Only a Nazi would’ve declined. Of course Castro remains the vainglorious, self-centered, brutal, pompous shitebag ass he’s always been:
While Castro seems to think the two would make a powerful combo, the Cuban leader mockingly wrote that Obama and Clinton, both Democrats, “feel the sacred duty of demanding ‘a democratic government in Cuba.’
Its hard to modest when you’re Castro, but the Fact remains There is no Benevolent yet Strict Master in the History of Prole Mankind quite as Modestly Noble as El Hefe. He would like to see Clobama in office because they’re the most likely and even deserving gringo/a to suck his prole ‘nads. Even if it looks a bit gay.
All this talk about Castro and Clinton makes me for some reason think of Westboro homophobe Fred Phelps glowing endorsement of the chronic lack of gay rights in Cuba, which, like everything else, were predickted to be revised for the better by the end of this year, easily surpassing our steadily regressing gay rights in the US under Bushitler.
By the way, I sure hope the Castro you mean is Raul, ‘cuz I think Fidel is pushin’ up the daisies. He has ceased to be. He is an ex-dictator. ;)
In other words Fidel is in stable condition.... Just like Arafat. ;)
Either way, his noble silhouette will never supplant a Che T-shirt.
Castro also weighed in on the “will-he-or-won’t-he” debate on former Vice President Al Gore’s potential candidacy. “I don’t think he will do so,” Castro said, but added that Gore, “better than anyone, he knows about the kind of catastrophe that awaits humanity if it continues along its current course.”
Gore knows the most!
Worst case everyone will eventually wind up eating cardboard, like, say, them Cubans.
ALERT! This is by no means a Castro endorsment of the The Goracle Meister, mainly because:
Castro was not, however, entirely full of praise for the 2000 Democratic nominee, conceding, “When he was a candidate, he of course committed the error of yearning for “a democratic Cuba.”
So Cuba isn’t a democracy. Its a benign dictatorship.
You know, you’ve got to wonder if either of them would even stop and think “Fidel Castro just endorsed me to run for office. What does that say about me?”
