How the “new left” does things
From our comments section:
Well I was posting on the website Daily Kos and just like Democratic Underground they deleted all of my posts and now I’m blocked from posting comments.
But to show how “open minded” and “nonfascist” they are, the regular libtard moonbats have started some kind of personal defamation campaign against me. They have been posting comments with nasty remarks about me and got my e-mail address from moorewatch after reading some of my posts.
One of them managed to Google me and found letters I wrote to the local newspapers and have now threatened to call my work and make trouble for me. Can you say “Harassment”?
If I had a nickel, buddy, if I had a nickel. That’s what they do. It’s all those pieces of shit know how to do. Anyone who has an opinion from the left is a hero, anyone who has an opinion on the right deserves their lives ruined by a relentless mob of scumbags with nothing better to do.
They will never understand the difference between a public figure and a private individual.
One wonders why someone who claims to be about fairness and “progressiveness” would be the vehicle for such behavior, but then again, we’re taklking about “Screw them” Kos here…

I guess that the first amendment only applies to the liberals these days. You know if the same incident would have occured from this website...they would be all over it telling us how we are just following Bush like sheep, and that we do not want to hear anyone’s opinion if it differs from our own, and that we are just doing what Dick Cheney tells us will drive up Halliburton stock or something else just as idiotic.
Well look at the bright side...at least they aren’t camped out side your house having a “hippie convention” in your ditch.
Very hypocritical of them. But it is no less than what I expect from them nowadays.
Well look at the bright side...at least they aren’t camped out side your house having a “hippie convention” in your ditch.
Oh, I wouldn’t mind it. I could use the target practice.
I have seen them in action, nothing like threatning to tell my boss, but then i keep all that rather hush hush and use more than one e-mail because of things like this.
but a while back i was posting at yahoo, some forum or whatever there, supposed to be a republican forum and yet i saw next to none, i heard the same halliburton nonsense and other such attacks.
Well i posted some replys, got sick of the attacks, the crazy posts they made and so i started to get a little mean with my posts, a few backhanded insults thrown in but nothing too bad i thought, but the mod shows up, never saw him till then and tells me to watch my tone or i would be banned...so i made one final post, told him off, pointed out the double standard, the posts above mine that got away with crap, told him to go fuck himself, ban me because i was never coming back there..and i didn’t ever go back.

Nice.
It’s too bad they didn’t call your work. You could trace the call and sue for harrassment. Wouldn’t that be fun?
And these are the same people who like to bandy the term “Nazi” about? I’m thinking I’ll stick to Moorewatch. At least here I can disagree with Jim, Lee or Para, or anyone else, and not be in any danger of being banned.
What is even worse is when someone tracks you down and invades your privacy as some sort of vendetta. That brownshirt crap might work in China but it shouldn’t work anywhere else (not saying it’s alright that it goes on in China).
Well, we all know how much Liberals LOVE the courts. You could always try dragging them through them on harrasment and defamation charges.
Or sue them for violating your ‘right to privacy’. They love telling us that’s in the constitution and all…
Darn. And here I am, using my real name here.
Still, I think the situation cited [not unique] along with everythign else the Mooreons do highlights two big things [aside from the fact that the EW-Liberal definition of Free Speech means they talk, we listen]:
1) There are actually sane(r) Liberals out there:
Here me out! For YEARS the Extermist-Whacko-Liberals have been running the Democratic Party. And before I became an Ex-Liberal, even I wondered if there were any non-fringers in the party given the voice and control the EW-Liberals have.
But now, we’re seeing the EW-Liberals cut loose. We’re seeing them threaten people. We’re seeing them go to Conservative protests and try to break them up Nazi-style [violence, shouting people down].
And we’re seeing sane(r) Liberals start to come out against this. Mind you, there aren’t many willing to outright OPPOSE this Nazi-esque activity on the past of the EW-Liberals, but they’re there.
And I don’t expect these sane(r) Liberals to actually DO anything, nor do I expect them to grow in size in comparison to the EW-Liberals--the time of Liberalism is over in the U.S. The reality is that any remaining power Liberalism will have will be as a result of the efforts of EW-Liberals. STILL, even though they’ve lost control of the Democratic Party, it’s interesting to know that there are/were sane(r) Liberals out there.
2) This is something to fight against, and then laugh about:
Like I said: LIbEralism is dying in the U.S. and THIS is why the Mooreons are fighting so hard:
They KNOW they can’t beat us with policies, because they have none that [in their rule since FDR] work. The War on Poverty and Welfare FAILED [according to the Mooreons, it’s worse than ever!]. Affirmative Action FAILED [since, according to Mooreons, we’re more of a racist country than ever!]. Education Reform ["new" math, “new” phonics, etc.] has FAILED--both demonstrably and according to the Mooreons, who say that the nations schools are in the worst shape EVER [guess which ideology has had control of the schools and education since FDR?]. That’s just to name a few.
They KNOW they can’t beat us with ideas, because they don’t hold weight with the American people--this is why, to cite just one example, the vegans attack meat consumption with questionable-to-bogus studies saying meat is unhealthy and why they attacked Atkins so much: people don’t think eating meat is wrong, so they have to attack it roundaboutly.
They KNOW they can’t win democratically, because their ideology isn’t popular. Hate, lies, and spoils-system politics don’t win elections [as the Mooreons have been finding out]. This is why the Mooreons need the courts so badly--to have Activist Judges [those who interpose personal policy over the law] enforce Liberalism because they can’t get it at the ballot box.
And finally, they KNOW they can’t successfully lie to us anymore because we have a decentralized news and fact-checking resource via the internet and blogs like this one.
Yes, I hate it when the Mooreons do this, but the cool thing is that we’re the majority. We can fight back.
Frak, more than that: We can keep winning this. LIbEralism is dying. The only way it can survive is the way Conservatism did: scale back, define a set of concrete policy, and then engage at the grassroots level [and I mean the people, not the rent-a-mobs that the Mooreons call the grassroots]--and even if it does that, we won’t see it again for 50 years.
But instead, they’re showing us who they really are and what LIbEralism really is. So trace the harrassing calls, sue the punks engaging in this unlawful activity, and more importantly: EXPOSE them. And in the end, they’ll shrivel up.
In other words, so long as we keep fighting back, we can bury LIbEralism and laugh at the Mooreons doing these things.
Christ. No wonder the Church of Scientology is always sucking up to Democratic congressmen (Sonny Bono anyone?); leftists and Scientologists have the exact same “we’re nice people but we’ll FUCK YOU UP if you don’t agree with us” attitude.
Expecting a zealot to follow rules of society is like expecting a chimpanzee to type a play by Shakespear.
If you get a million chimps you just might get that manuscript… I am unsure if you have a million zealots if even one can follow the rules of society.
its like the t-shirt says…
never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
its simple really, their lives are so devoid of anything meaningfull, that they use this harrasement to validate their own pathetic existance, they actually think theyre making a difference, wich to them is justification, i cant help but wonder if its a sign evolution has slowed down.
The more liberalism wackos i.e. Sean Penn, Rosie, O’donnell et al get exposure on TV and otherwise the more normal people are alerted to their fringe and deluded thinking. That’s why the more people examined MM stuff on 9/11 the more it didn’t pass muster and he was exposed. So let them rant and persecute it is the death throes of liberalism. They will still get there ~40% of the vote but it will slowly sink towards 40% not the 43%-47% that Clinton enjoyed. We can deal with 40% easily. So let em rant.
Just look at the numbers for Air America. I rest my case.
Oh, great—another spelling and grammar challenged troll. bla-a-a-ah!!!!
Aw, look, the little troll thinks it’s going to divert attention from the bad behavior of its moonbat brethren by asking subjective questions…
Do I know what I believe in? What kind of fucked up question is that? How could I believe in something but not know I believe in it?
As a conservative, I believe some of your words were spelled correctly.
Now, if the I were to ask a “challenging” question on DU, just as our spelling challenged troll has, guess what? They would hit thier little ‘alert’ button and before long my posts would be deleted and I would be banned.
Isn’t nice to have the freedom of coming to a tolerant website like Moorewatch, dubyaisamoron?
To be honest, I could not care less that you want information from me. I’m just writing for amusement. You want to call me afraid? Ok, go ahead. I’m sh-a-a-a-a-king in fear of answering you. Ooooooooooooo.
what are you afraid to say what you believe in as a conservative, or is it that you don’t have any beliefs or goals you would like conservative republicans to accomplish for you.
I am a fairly new member to this site, but before I joined I read many of the posts and comments. I did a “little” bit or reasearch, and I believe that by doing the same your questions will be answered. So, in conclusion I would have to agree that it seems as though you are trying to divert attention away from the topic at hand as has already been pointed out.
I believe Affirmative action is racist
I believe overturning Roe would be amazing
I believe that I am a memeber of PETA: People Eating Tasty Animals
I believe that everyone is entitled to equal protection under the law
I believe Bush isn’t Superman
I believe in the Iraq war
I believe hate-crime legislation is a savage hypocracy
I believe most sexual harassment law is just fascism
I believe in reforming social security
I believe in controling the borders
I believe that not every Republican/conservative agrees with me, but that’s what makes our side stronger than the dems: we don’t nit pick every member’s every belief.
I believe you are a troll, because this isn’t what this post is about, and your ‘changing the subject’ post makes you a troll.
I believe more things… but… you know… I believe I really don’t care enough.
This thread is quickly getting offtrack. Dubyaisamoron, you are the reason for that. (And before you say anything, I am not conservative. Just pointing a clear fact out.)
Yeah your right Jack22 its nice for “A spelling challenged Little troll” to ask a challengeing question and not get banned
To be fair, he didn’t call you little.
Now I am just asking about consrvatism and people beliefs because i am really curious as to what you beleive in to see how much your views differ from mine.
Interesting approach. Seeking differences but not similarities. I sense that you’re just looking for something to trash. Call it a hunch. Maybe it’s your name.
It is obviously off track, but it is kind of funny how it strengthened the point of the post. “If you say something that they don’t agree with they try to silence you and make your life misearble”. Not all liberals do this, but the ones that are sure do give the rest of them a bad name.
Anyone can do research and go to a conservtive websites and see some webmaster post his/her ideas as to what conservatism is ,and the goals they would like to accomplish but that doesn’t mean that people posting here have the same goals or beliefs.
So go read every post on this site. You want the Cliff’s Notes, you came to the wrong thread.
Anyone can do research and go to a conservtive websites and see some webmaster post his/her ideas as to what conservatism is ,and the goals they would like to accomplish but that doesn’t mean that people posting here have the same goals or beliefs.
But when you read the people’s response to what has been said, it gives you a basic idea of the “communities” ideals, Hence me saying I read the comments too. Here I will recap for you.
I am a fairly new member to this site, but before I joined I read many of the posts and comments. I did a “little” bit or reasearch, and I believe that by doing the same your questions will be answered. (Emphasis Mine)

It also doesn’t mean that your question has anything to do with the relevant topic.
It’s not a bad topic but save it for the open mic threads (or find a recent one, there have been one or two just in the last few days)
See it is very obvious that Dubyaisamoron did not do any of the before mentioned research, or he/she would have known the answer to it’s question; and furthermore would have known they would be called out as a troll. It is very important to do your research before posting on any “political” site. You need to make sure that you are not getting in over your head.
Companies that close US factories and take those jobs Offshore.
I think Clinton’s Luxury tax did enough of that.
But, to be fair, I didn’t say anything about Taxes or corporations. I don’t see why I would have to defend such a point.
See, it’s those corporations… see, they’re all… corporation-ee
So Bush Taxes cuts haven’t helped them huh, or the Tax cuts for the extremely weathy?
You mean the tax cuts that gave us an insane increase in our tax rev. this year?
By the way, the “extremely wealthy” line won’t work here. We understand basic economics and %
Companies that close US factories and take those jobs Offshore.
How shall we keep them here? Military force? Bribes? Coupons for poor people who won’t be able to afford the expensive union-made goods?

I think making unions stronger is a really good idea!
I think making unions stronger is a really good idea!
Stronger in order to achieve what?
... to achieve a world where there are no jobs in america
Jesus, Ronnie, I was being sarcastic.
Jesus, Ronnie, I was being sarcastic.
I got it. I got it. By the way, Monday through Saturday, you can just call me Ronnie.
Im curious, is it ok to tax the ‘extremely rich’, but not give them any tax breaks? Why not give tax breaks to those that pay the most into the tax system?
Hey, who builds yachts? Who gets that money put into their buisnesses? Who needs to hire more workers for their projects?
The more money you make, the more taxes you pay, therefore they more tax breaks you get. It wouldn’t make any logical sense in reverse.
The point is, it’s not always what you take out of the system. It’s what will be put back in that counts. Notice how low unemployment is.
The top 1% of tax payers got 35% of the tax benefits.
They certainly pay more than 35% of income tax. You wanted to give them the same $28 Joe Janitor saved on his return? Besides, with a keen mind like yours, aren’t you worried that you’ll be in the top 1% before you know it? I know I’m working on it.
Hey, who builds yachts? Who gets that money put into their buisnesses? Who needs to hire more workers for their projects?
By the way, the sad answer is mexico, because of Clinton’s lux. tax.
Not so much anymore, but back then, damn.

Then why are the tax rolls improved? This is a liberal strawman of an argument. Rich people also spend money, invest money and use that money to make money. The more money you can get circulating the better it is for taxes. Eating the rich in one big byte does the exact opposite of what many liberals expect it to do for the economy.
Yeah your way to smart for that, Im sure you understand that The top 1% of tax payers got 35% of the tax benefits. Im sure your happy that because of those tax breaks the super wealthy where able to buy new yachts.
Actually, Yeah that is a good thing. If all of the “super wealthy” go out and spend their tax breaks it pumps money back into the economy at a much larger rate than “us ordinary” people can, and remember the economy is circular.
Ok, so maybe it’s OT… but after thinking about it, I realized that the best thing I can do is to answer this guy, regardless of his motives. (Give me a break, kid. Your screen name is a giveaway.)
I believe that conservatism is the ideology of preserving those aspects that have made and kept this country the greatest on earth.
I believe in;
Self-reliance, not victimhood.
True equal treatment for all.
Societal and individual betterment through a combination of charity and competition.
Freedom of religion, as opposed to freedom from religion.
Limited government intrusion into civilian life.
A strong defense, which sometimes includes the ability to preemptively strike, when called for.
Common sense.
Pragmatism.
Reason.
Faith.
Pride in one’s accomplishments, not in the failure of others.
Strong leadership, not apologetics.
Conclusions drawn from facts, not facts drawn from conclusions.
Love, not pity.
These are some things I believe in.
How do I expect republican leaders to accomplish these things?
I don’t.
Not all of them, anyway.
You see, conservatism is an ideology of individualism;
it’s the belief that a person can do better for themselves, given the chance, than the government can do for them.
So while some things, (a strong defense, lowered taxes, etc.) are in the power of elected officials to enact, enable or facilitate, the best thing any government can do to promote conservatism is simply to get out of the way, and allow Americans to do what they do best; innovate and succeed.
Just out of curiosity, dubyaisamoron, tell us what do you believe in? Where do you stand politically?
If your moniker is any indication............
Im sure you understand that The top 1% of tax payers got 35% of the tax benefits.
And I’m sure you understand that the top 1% of wage earners also pay (depending on what taxes you include or omit) anywhere from 24%-59% of all taxes. And that’s after your “35% of all tax benefits.”
Nice try, though. I know how difficult it must be to regurgitate the same tired, bullshit party line they’ve been using erroneously for years, with a straight face.
Just out of curiosity, dubyaisamoron, tell us what do you believe in?
Now that is a damn fine question.
I can’t wait to hear this.
The left doesn’t seem to understand that a 5% discount on a Porsche is more than a 50% discount on a bus pass.
Just out of curiosity, dubyaisamoron, tell us what do you believe in?
And suddenly things got quiet and perhaps on track.
I had a “lets just love everyone” hippie threaten to call my job and get me fired due to a post I left on a politics message board.
All I said was that I quit a teaching position on a reservation due to having my life threatened by some racist Indian.
I never said all Indians were racists or what ever, just that my experience was not what you would call pleasent.
Well this nutjob got my contact info, and threatened to call my principal and have me fired for posting “racist” comments.
Moral, its ok when whites are told that they can be murdered and no one will ever find the body.
