Why I have gone silent
A commenter recently bemoaned the lack of this site’s activity. Well...I take much of the blame for that. I have had the politics beaten out of me on *every* front long before the election. This is NOT about Obama’s victory. I gave up on my personal politics/oriented blog for the most part about 6 months ago. This place sucked the joy out of me a year ago. I cannot seem to find it again. The fire that drives me to want to rail against the shit I see is still burning...but it’s a small coal, buried under a pile of ash. I cannot imagine it will stay dormant forever, especially in an administration that will likely try to implement some of the things Mikey loves (to happen to other people), like stealing via outrageous taxes from anyone who works for more than a living wage and populist crap like bread and circuses. Free money for all! Tax the rich until there are no rich anymore, it’s only fair! Mike will hide his wealth in all sorts of tax shelters, I’m sure, paying the bare minimum the government requires while advocating that all of you who make more than you need to pay your bills and buy his DVDs give up all disposable income to help those who make less. He’s nothing if not consistently inconsistent.
See? I still have a little fire in there. Enough to make me mad on occasion. :) Anyway, I apologize for the lack of activity. If you feel like you have something you’d like to see on the front page, email me and we can talk about making you an author on the site. if you are already an author...please feel free to post about anything Mikey brings up on his site. I understand he’s been one unbearable prick lately. :)

Well, I was going to say, “Don’t worry, Jim, Donna has you covered.” but Donna already had that covered. Anyway it’s nice to know that you haven’t gotten arthritis or something unpleasant like that.
Hey, its understandable. And I totally relate. I took a break off from politics from about February or so til the election because I was so dissatisfied not just with my choices, but with how blindly people followed the options put forward.
I think I know why you’ve “gone silent”.
Because you are no longer in the majority. Your days are over. I’ve been on this site since it’s inception, and I’ve never seen interaction between you and your disciples so low.
Moore, on the other hand, has been booked continuously on Larry King, due to high ratings and increasing popularity.
Your comments don’t even make sense anymore, they were at least intelligent in the past.

Right. Because his last feature film wasn’t FREE to everybody in America. Spare me your argument. I know it wouldn’t have been a massive cash cow for him (like his other films), but he could have made a profit through DVD sales, rentals, limited theatrical showings, etc. Even public institutions can request a hard copy of the DVD for free.
He didn’t make a dime off of it; however you still accuse him of being a greedy whore. I figure you’d give the guy a break by now, considering he exposed you in Sicko for the ungrateful moron you are. However, you’re so irrelevant at this point that I’m sure you can barely afford to afford hosting this site let alone your bills.
And spare me this socialism/ populist garbage. Donate your income tax return and stop paying into social security if your against these “populist handouts”. Read up on Obama’s tax policies, it’s an increased percentage on anything over the threshold and letting Bush’s tax cuts run out in 2010, not some super Robin Hood tax break so nobody can enjoy their wealth anymore.
Nobody visits this pathetic site anymore for a reason. Your days are over.
