Smash has the story

Posted by JimK on 02/28/06 at 08:45 PM

Why isn’t the mainstream media this good at asking tough questions?

DEBORAH JOHNS: And this gentleman is absolutely correct, because it’s Debbie Argel. The Williams… I have over 1200 families that have sent you requests…

CINDY SHEEHAN: Sent me requests? I’m not in charge of those memorials.

DEBORAH JOHNS: ...California, spoke with you personally, on the telephone, and demanded that you stop using her son’s name. So did Joe Williams…

CINDY SHEEHAN: I’m not using anybody’s son’s name.

DEBORAH JOHNS: You have used their names in Crawford, Texas, Cindy. I was there. And I removed their sons’ names. And the sheriff down there took the list of the names from me, because he said in the middle of the night, you and your people go back up and put the names back up…

CINDY SHEEHAN: You’re…

DEBORAH JOHNS: Cindy, you have used their names in the newspaper.

CINDY SHEEHAN: You know what… Deborah, that’s not the truth.

DEBORAH JOHNS: You have used their names in the newspaper…

CINDY SHEEHAN: No, I haven’t used anybody’s name in the newspaper.

DEBORAH JOHNS: USA Today, Cindy…

(applause)

CINDY SHEEHAN: What… what newspaper have I used their names in?

DEBORAH JOHNS: USA Today, Cindy, when you took out ads across the United States…

(crosstalk)

CINDY SHEEHAN: ...I can’t take that. I’m not the only person who does this stuff…

You’ll have to go to Smash’s site and follow the links that prove how many lies Mama Moonbat tells in a short exchange.

As an aside...obviously she’s Moore-related, and as long as she runs her mouth, we shoudl call her on her bullshit.  But...and I never thought I would say this...I cannnot WAIT for Mikey to release another movie so we can start talking about something the fuck else.  I can’t wait to show Casey Sheehan’s mother the bottom of my shoe.  Maybe she’ll hug a few Hamas or Hezbollah after she’s done protesting the wounded and they can explain it to her.

Terrorist-loving, Dictator hugging “Peace Mom” to protest in Germany

Posted by JimK on 02/28/06 at 04:46 AM

One soldier’s opinion on Mama Moonbat’s planned protest:

One soldier, who recently returned from Iraq, did give his name but didn’t have much to say about Sheehan.

“Anything I would have to say about her, you couldn’t print,” Army Staff Sgt. Mark Genthner said.

Thank you, Sargeant.  We read you five by five.

At least someone is planning to step up.

Private Hosercare

Posted by Lee on 02/27/06 at 12:08 PM

Later on this year Michael Moore will release “Sicko,” his look at the American healthcare system.  In this film he will undoubtedly, as he has done for years, extoll the virtues and the compassion of the Canadian system.  The only problem is that the Canadian system doesn’t work, and to supplement its failures Canadian doctors are turning to eeeeevil free market capitalism and private insurance.

The country’s publicly financed health insurance system — frequently described as the third rail of its political system and a core value of its national identity — is gradually breaking down. Private clinics are opening around the country by an estimated one a week, and private insurance companies are about to find a gold mine.

Dr. Day, for instance, is planning to open more private hospitals, first in Toronto and Ottawa, then in Montreal, Calgary and Edmonton. Ontario provincial officials are already threatening stiff fines. Dr. Day says he is eager to see them in court.

“We’ve taken the position that the law is illegal,” Dr. Day, 59, says. “This is a country in which dogs can get a hip replacement in under a week and in which humans can wait two to three years.”

Oh wait, it gets better.

The median wait time between a referral by a family doctor and an appointment with a specialist has increased to 8.3 weeks last year from 3.7 weeks in 1993, according to a recent study by The Fraser Institute, a conservative research group. Meanwhile the median wait between appointment with a specialist and treatment has increased to 9.4 weeks from 5.6 weeks over the same period.

Average wait times between referral by a family doctor and treatment range from 5.5 weeks for oncology to 40 weeks for orthopedic surgery, according to the study.

Last December, provincial health ministers unveiled new targets for cutting wait times, including four weeks for radiation therapy for cancer patients beginning when doctors consider them ready for treatment and 26 weeks for hip replacements.

Now, call me crazy, but even your average heartless HMO here in America will provide superior care than that.  The problem is that HMOs are private, whereas government is public, so in the mind of Mikey and those like him the government is more compassionate, even when delivering inferior care.

What A Fat Bastard

Posted by Lee on 02/16/06 at 10:56 PM

A minute ago I was looking for a picture of Fat Bastard, the character from the Austin Powers movies, so I went to Google Image Search and typed in “fat bastard”.  In addition to pictures of Fat Bastard there were numerous pictures of Michael Moore from various websites.  So you can imagine how amusing I found it to discover that one of the linked images, shown here, is from Michael Moore’s own website.  It’s the picture of Mikey doing the “Loser” sign at the GOP Convention last year.

I guess even Michael Moore’s own staff knows what a fat bastard that fat bastard is.

Hate Mail From A Lunatic

The moonbats have been out in full force lately!  Here’s a series of emails from some dunce named Cary Randolph, who has just discovered the irrefutable brilliance of Michael Moore.  Either that or she’s forgotten to take her medication, I can’t tell which.

Hate Mail, number eleventy-billion and three: Crazy ramble edition

This one is a doozy.

Subject: Libby and Dick and the republican labia

Hey guys of Moorewatch,

I have been reading your site back and forth btwn his site for a while. It’s entertaining to say the least.

It was announced today that Dick himself allowed Libby to leak the CIA member’s name in retaliation for and to cover up all the lies about Iraq. I’m sure, as are you, the left wing dems, and the rest of the pussy liberals will roll over and they (The Bush Admin) will NOT be held accountable, nor had they been accountable for anything. Including dating back to the big whopper thatstarted all this mess, the knowledge and aid to help 9/11 be set in motion to make sure this ‘new war’ could be set in motion (for those who don’t believe it, just look up Wolfowitz’s doctrine from 1992. It’s not a translation, like say, a bible verse, it’s a fact in black and white, the sky is BLUE, and this 9/11 aid from Bush & Cheney is TRUE.  It was a long, long hard plan, but one well worth it. And it’s still working beautifully today.

I have to hand it to you all, the right wing, for consistently winning over and over. You always win. No matter how obviously criminal or genocidal.

What gets me more than ever, is that you have all still managed to convince yourselves and the public that you are the strong superior ones, the ones that do and know right - not to mention all this moral right you keep chruning out. Again, congrats. And the fact that the rest of the country believes the funneling of pure bullshit spewing from all orafices proves again and again how miserable this country really has become. America was once a decent place. But, like Rome, every empire falls. And, it’s hanging by a thread.

I must say, for a group of people on a mission, not to mention a god’s mission, you are proving yourself more and more successful. The dems and the left wing don’t stand a chance, because you have the biggest advantage, the Amercian majority. And the Amercian majority is bovine dog patch. Cattle, sheep. As long as they can make it to Wal-Mart, they could care less.

Keep up the good work,
Sincerely,
Eric Merola

To Run Or Not To Run? or I Love You, I Love You Not

Posted by yngcelt on 02/09/06 at 03:12 PM

Cindy Sheehan takes the typical liberal flip flop stance patented by John Kerry in her decision to run for California State Senate.  And it looks like liberals might be turning on each other!!

As we all know, Cindy Sheehan threatened to run in the California race for Senator.  Apparently, she diesn’t get enough attention in D.C. as it is so she wants to take up space that is supposed to be filled with people with actual EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE!!  Of course, Mikey Mooreon has been there supporting her and showcasing her shenanigans on his website.
Here’s the latest news on her bid for state senate as featured on Mikey’s site:

Speech as Prepared for Delivery
By Cindy Sheenah
First of all, I would like to thank everyone for coming today, and send out to my daughter, Carly, a big happy birthday. She is 25 today. She is now older than Casey was when he was killed in Iraq on April 04, 2004.
I would also like to thank everyone from all over the world that has sent me emails of support and encouragement to consider a challenge to Dianne Feinstein’s Senate seat. I literally got hundreds of emails. I am overwhelmed with gratitude and love.
During the Vietnam War, Senator George McGovern stated the following on the Senate floor in September of 1970:
“Every senator in this chamber is partly responsible for sending 50,000 young Americans to an early grave. This chamber reeks of blood...It does not take any courage at all for a congressman, or a senator, or a president to wrap himself in the flag and say we are staying in Vietnam, because it is not our blood that is being shed. But we are responsible for those young men and their lives and their hopes.”
The lack of courage of America’s present Senate is partially responsible for my son’s death and the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent people. Dianne Feinstein is one of the Senators who expediently gave her Constitutional obligation to George Bush to invade an innocent country. Dianne Feinstein continues to vote to give George Bush more money to fund what she calls a “mistake.” George Bush has been proven to be irresponsible with our young people’s lives and with our tax dollars, but the Senator keeps giving him more money and more power to prolong the murder and mayhem in Iraq.
I am standing here today to say “enough.” It is not enough to “criticize” the President’s policies while you are handing him more money to fund his policies. It is like giving an addict more money to purchase drugs when you would like for him/her to quit.
It is not enough to criticize the President’s policies when more and more flag draped coffins are coming home each day and more families are being devastated by these policies while other people are putting food on their tables and becoming fabulously wealthy off of Casey’s flesh and blood and the sorrow of scores of others.
I am here today to call on, not only Senator Feinstein, but our other Senator, Senator Boxer, who heroically did not abrogate her responsibility to declare war to the President, to quit “figuring” out ways to bring our troops home and start sponsoring legislation. The last Senate vote for increased funding for the killing was 99-0. How about cutting off the President’s means for killing? It is not that difficult. There is not one piece of legislation in the Senate currently in opposition to Iraq.
It is not “enough” to say that one is critical of the war in Iraq. I, and the Nation Magazine, have called on every Democrat of good conscience in America to oppose “pro-war” Democrats in the upcoming elections. If an elected official voted for the war, votes for the funding of the war, and doesn’t call for an immediate withdrawal of the troops, then that official is “pro-war” no matter what he or she says. We in America are fed up with rhetoric, and if the actions don’t match the rhetoric, then we are not buying what they are selling anymore.
I have been weighing my decision to run for Senate here in California carefully, even before Camp Casey. My entire being since Casey was killed has been immersed in trying to end the occupation of Iraq before any other mothers have to fall on the floor screaming for their child who should not have been in harm’s way in the first place. In making my decision whether to run or not, I had to decide which course of action would bring the troops home sooner. Is my being on the outside, putting pressure on the inside more effective, or would a Senate campaign help bring our kids home sooner? If I thought that running for Senate would bring our young people home more quickly, I would do it in a minute, but I am not convinced that that would be so.
I have decided not to run but I am calling on all Californians and Americans to support all anti-war candidates to promote a paradigm of peace in the world and I will be supporting and working for dozens of anti-war candidates all over the country. Our emphasis will be holding all of the pro-war candidates accountable for their tragic mistakes and voting in representatives who will hold George Bush and his administration accountable for all of their mistakes in Iraq and here in America.
We Americans are looking for ways to become involved in our political process. We are tired of being complacent and we are so tired of business as usual.
Gold Star Families for Peace and Code Pink are sponsoring an International Women’s Day for Peace on March 8th. We are holding rallies and events all over the world that day. Specifically, we are trying to bring two Iraqi mothers, whose children have been killed over from Iraq, to speak at our event in Washington, DC and they are being denied visas from the State Department. My freedom of speech and my civil rights were violated last week for wearing a t-shirt, now these Iraqi women who have paid the ultimate price for our leaders’ stupidity and greed are being denied the right to come to America and tell their stories. We are urging America to call the State Department and demand that these two women be given visas.
We are also encouraging grass roots Americans to demand that the Senate start doing something to end the travesty in Iraq. We believe that it will be the women who lead our nation to peace and we are especially calling on America to put pressure on Hillary Clinton, Dianne Feinstein, and Barbara Boxer to be the leaders that our nation so desperately needs. It is time.
It is too late for me. My life and the lives of nearly 2,300 American families have been tragically altered by the ennui of the Senate and the callousness and incompetence of this administration. I will never get to see my son or hear his voice again. His future was robbed needlessly from him. The complicity of the Senate has guaranteed that my future is one of pain and longing for my son’s presence. It is not too late for the millions of people still in harm’s way.
I, as an American, and as the mother of a hero, pledge to do what I can as a citizen to end the occupation of Iraq. I am not running against Feinstein, but I will continue to be a thorn in the side of the Senator and anyone who is not stridently working for peace. That is my promise.
To get info to pressure the State Department and our Senators and for info on the International Women’s Day for Peace go to: WomenSayNoToWar.org.
Thank you and God Bless America….Please!!!

Funny she mentions Barbara Boxer because this story ran on Fox News today:

Discouraging Cindy

And California Senator Barbara Boxer is urging anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan not to run for the Senate this year, saying Sheehan is “more valuable out there, not as a candidate.” Sheehan says she’s leaning toward challenging California’s other Democratic senator, Dianne Feinstein, in the June primary over Feinstein’s vote to authorize the use of force in Iraq.
But Boxer tells California reporters, “I don’t think having her in the Senate election helps her at all.”

Whatta ya think?  Some sour grapes maybe?  I swear these liberals are like rabid coyotes.  They hold hands and cuddle when they all agree on something.  And as soon as they don’t see eye to eye on one little thing, they snap and try to tear each other’s throats out.
Here’s a fun little game we can play!  Let’s imagine what would happen if you put Michael Moore, George Soros, John Kerry, Cindy Sheehan, Martin Sheen, George Clooney, Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton and Bill Maher on an island and called it “Liberal Survivor”!  How do you think it would play out?

Sicko In Need

Posted by yngcelt on 02/06/06 at 03:04 AM

Mikey needs your bullshit for his next movie!

So I was checking out old scumbag’s website when I came across this letter he has written to his fellow liberal lemmings:

Send Me Your Health Care Horror Stories… an appeal from Michael Moore

Friends,

How would you like to be in my next movie? I know you’ve probably heard I’m making a documentary about the health care industry (but the HMOs don’t know this, so don’t tell them — they think I’m making a romantic comedy).

If you’ve followed my work over the years, you know that I keep a pretty low profile while I’m making my movies. I don’t give interviews, I don’t go on TV and I don’t defrost my refrigerator. I do keep my website updated on a daily basis (there’s been something like 4,000,000 visitors just this week alone) and the rest of the time I’m… well, I can’t tell you what I’m doing, but you can pretty much guess. It gets harder and harder sneaking into corporate headquarters, but I’ve found that just dying my hair black and wearing a skort really helps.

Back to my invitation to be in my movie. Have you ever found yourself getting ready to file for bankruptcy because you can’t pay your kid’s hospital bill, and then you say to yourself, “Boy, I sure would like to be in Michael Moore’s health care movie!”?

Or, after being turned down for the third time by your HMO for an operation they should be paying for, do you ever think to yourself, “Now THIS travesty should be in that ‘Sicko’ movie!”?

Or maybe you’ve just been told that your father is going to have to just, well, die because he can’t afford the drugs he needs to get better – and it’s then that you say, “Damn, what did I do with Michael Moore’s home number?!”

Ok, here’s your chance. As you can imagine, we’ve got the goods on these bastards. All we need now is to put a few of you in the movie and let the world see what the greatest country ever in the history of the universe does to its own people, simply because they have the misfortune of getting sick. Because getting sick, unless you are rich, is a crime – a crime for which you must pay, sometimes with your own life.

About four hundred years from now, historians will look back at us like we were some sort of barbarians, but for now we’re just the laughing stock of the Western world.

So, if you’d like me to know what you’ve been through with your insurance company, or what it’s been like to have no insurance at all, or how the hospitals and doctors wouldn’t treat you (or if they did, how they sent you into poverty trying to pay their crazy bills) ...if you have been abused in any way by this sick, greedy, grubby system and it has caused you or your loved ones great sorrow and pain, let me know.

Send me a short, factual account of what has happened to you – and what IS happening to you right now if you have been unable to get the health care you need. Send it to [email protected]. I will read every single one of them (even if I can’t respond to or help everyone, I will be able to bring to light a few of your stories).

Thank you in advance for sharing them with me and trusting me to try and do something about a very corrupt system that simply has to go.

Oh, and if you happen to work for an HMO or a pharmaceutical company or a profit-making hospital and you have simply seen too much abuse of your fellow human beings and can’t take it any longer – and you would like the truth to be told – please write me at [email protected]. I will protect your privacy and I will tell the world what you are unable to tell. I am looking for a few heroes with a conscience. I know you are out there.

Thank you, all of you, for your help and your continued support through the years. I promise you that with “Sicko” we will do our best to give you not only a great movie, but a chance to bring down this evil empire, once and for all.

In the meantime, stay well. I hear fruits and vegetables help.

Yours,
Michael Moore

Wow!  This guy is so in need of bullshit that he can’t even make enough of it himself anymore.  I mean consider these quotes:

If you’ve followed my work over the years, you know that I keep a pretty low profile while I’m making my movies.

Can a 300 lb. jerkoff in a baseball hat followed by a fucking film crew really keep a low profile?  How low of a profile was he keeping when he was harassing members of Congress on the street in F9/11?

I don’t give interviews, I don’t go on TV and I don’t defrost my refrigerator.

OK bullshit on the first two because he was doing interviews on EVERY television program that was run by the liberals (99% of all tv shows) while hawking Fahrenheit 9/11.  Let’s see, Letterman, Leno, Good Morning America, Today Show, The Early Show, etc.  Hell, he even showed how chicken shit he really is when he went on the Daily Show and avoided Michael Wilson (Michael Moore Hates America) like Saddam Hussein hiding from our troops.
And as for defrosting his refrigerator, of course HE doesn’t do that!  He has his illegal alien housemaid do that for him!

...and the rest of the time I’m… well, I can’t tell you what I’m doing, but you can pretty much guess.

I’m guessing eating Popeye’s fried chicken while masturbating to German scat porn.

It gets harder and harder sneaking into corporate headquarters, but I’ve found that just dying my hair black and wearing a skort (skirt) really helps.

Well duh!  Then people will think you’re Rosie O’Donnell and not Michael Moore.  Or they’ll mistake you for Janeane Garafolo.  Either way.

Better questions:
Do you live in Canada?
Are you tired of waiting for the government to approve of that necessary surgery?
Are you tired of having no choice in health care providers because the Canadian government won’t allow you to choose?
Are you frustrated because you’ve been told that if you go to America and have that necessary surgery, the Canadian government absolutely will not cover any post-surgery care?
Then guess what?  Michael Moore doesn’t give a rat’s furry ass about you!  He thinks you have the best health care coverage in the world!

About four hundred years from now, historians will look back at us like we were some sort of barbarians, but for now we’re just the laughing stock of the Western world.

No Mikey, assholes who fly planes into buildings killing thousands of innocent people are “barbarians”.  Assholes who force a mentally retarded boy to become a suicide bomber are “barbarians”.  Assholes who set off bombs in market places and hospitals and schools are “barbarians”.  And any douche bag who calls those assholes “Freedom Fighters” and “Minute Men” is the laughing stock of the Western World!!

No point in specifying stuff you don’t like, right?

Mama Moonbat likes the cuffs

Posted by JimK on 01/31/06 at 11:33 PM

The attention whore publicity-seeking mother...person was at it again.

Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a fallen soldier in Iraq who reinvigorated the anti-war movement, was arrested and removed from the House gallery Tuesday night just before President Bush’s State of the Union address, a police spokeswoman said.

Sheehan, who had been invited to attend the speech by Rep. Lynn Woolsey, D-Calif., was charged with demonstrating in the Capitol building, a misdemeanor, said Capitol Police Sgt. Kimberly Schneider. Sheehan was taken in handcuffs to police headquarters a few blocks away and her case was processed as Bush spoke.

Schneider said Sheehan had worn a T-shirt with an anti-war slogan to the speech and covered it up until she took her seat. Police warned her that such displays were not allowed, but she did not respond, the spokeswoman said.

So...being sneaky and lying, violating the rules and being duplicitous is OK, as long as you’re in it for attention.  Mikey must be so proud of her.  Meanwhile someone with honor and integrity would have walked in wearing the shirt and took their chances.  No, wait...someone with honor and integrity would have sat politiely and listened to the speech in the first frigging place.  An honest activist would have worn the shirt in the open instead of being a lying sneak.

Police handcuffed Sheehan and removed her from the gallery before Bush arrived.

Oh that’s frigging classic.  She accomplished exactly nothing.  Beautiful.

“I’m proud that Cindy’s my guest tonight,” Woolsey said in an interview before the speech. “She has made a difference in the debate to bring our troops home from Iraq.”

Wow, talk about blinders...Sheehan has accomplished, as she did with this protest, nothing but getting her name in the paper and getting Code Pink, MoveOn, Moore and that ilk to fund her life.  They’re treating her like a star, paying her bills, making her feel like her dumb ass matters.  That’s what this has always been about...someone paying attention to her.  The troops aren’t coming home until they are finished.  They never were.  Most of them don’t want to.  Maybe if she actually talked to them…

Hey, when is Code Pink and that set gonna send Mama Moonbat to Iraq?  Let’s see her put other people’s money where her mouth is.  Go ask a few thousand troops if they want to bail out on Iraq, see what kind of answers she gets.

Casey who?  If she had half the relationship she pretends to have had with her son, she’d get what total strangers already understand...these guys and gals do what they do out of a sense of honor and duty.

Wizbang’s Kevin Aylward asks:

What’s next for Mama Moonbat, streaking through a presidential press conference?

O.K., that’s enough.  Now I have to bleach my brain.  Thanks, Kevin...thanks a lot.
